Sat in "Pronkville" for a few games at Jacobs Field back in the day. He was a really good DH for us a for awhile. Such a shame that he got hit in the face by a Mark Buehrle pitch and then a year or two later got plunked in the hand and broke his hamate bone or whatever it is called. Wasn't quite the same after those two injuries and the Indians foolishly signed him to a 4 year 57 million soar contract for an aging injured DH when he was 32. Not a horrible contract but with our small payroll it ate a good chunk of that up and handcuffed us from making some other moves. But yea much love for Pronk. He and Don Mattingly are tied for the single season grand slam record with six a piece .
