How it's like to fly with film in your country?

While waiting for COVID-19 situation to improve, I am thinking about taking my film camera to international trips with me. I live in the US, where I just politely hand a transparent plastic bag with my film to a TSA agent, to avoid the scanners. Always worked, they don't mind.

I've gotten into film photography fairly recently and didn't get a chance to try this when flying internationally, and then COVID happened.
