Looking to Upgrade RAM + SSD for MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2012)

I hope this is the correct place to post this. As the title says, I'm looking to upgrade the RAM from 4 GB and adding in either a 250 GB or 500 GB SSD. Would this laptop even support a 1 TB SSD?

This is the RAM or RAM from Amazon (are they the same?) and this SSD. Or should I just stick with a Crucial SSD?
