Diseases can’t effect you if you’ve already fucking died of starvation

Isn’t bad having very little body fat? Like it comprises the immune system or something?

20% is not very little body fat. It's actually more than is recommended for men. But yes, extremely low body fat is dangerous for a host of reasons, not the least of which is that it reduces the effectiveness of your immune system.

Yes, but the danger zone starts at about 4% for men.

20% isn't even a hard goal to reach for men, eating decently and walking to the convenience store once in a while will work towards that. Some people are around 18% without a shred of effort. Source: my kinesiology degree

So what this man is saying really is that anyone and everyone should be disease-free quite easily, this is quite the discovery.

I know of a meth addict who is sub 3% body fat and has nearly every disease known to man.

How are people here saying sub 20% is anorexic or "starving to death"? 20% is average to slightly overweight (depending on who you ask), 25% already counts as obese. Athletes have 6-10%.
