Is a Masters worth it?
Hey everyone!
I've been in the IT/Cybersecurity industry for a little over 10 years and I'm currently in my last semester of a Cybersecurity BS degree from WGU so I'm shopping around for possible MBA in Cybersecurity or MS in Cybersecurity programs. I already have over 15 different industry certifications at this point to include my big achievement CISSP. I've worked for the Federal government as a GS13 and now I work at one of the big three companies managing/developing compliance programs. My goal is to become a CISO of a Defense Contractor or Tech company by the time I'm 45 (I'm 30 at this point). So as the title states, I'm wondering if a Masters degree is worth my time/money or do I just continue to work in the industry and possibly get more certifications?
Thanks in advance!
