Cherry barbs breeding, need advice...

Freshwater

I’ve just moved houses so I’ve had to move my tank as well. I had to drain it to the point it could be carried. I put all my livestock in a bucket with plants and a heater. Most of the water had to be replaced and all my plants were uprooted but still floating in the tank. The tank is not filled to the brim either. After adding my first bucket of new water, within minutes my cherry barbs started breeding and dropping eggs. I didn’t want to disturb them by adding more water, and I don’t want to try replant my plants because they’ve wiggled in there to lay eggs. Is it okay to leave the tank as it is now? They can all still live happily in there, it just looks ugly... also how long do the eggs take to hatch? And do I need to do anything special? Thank you in advance :)
