From Hell reviews?

So I got some Christmas cash and have been looking into this book for some time. I am reaching out to you, reddit, to help me figure out whether to pull the trigger or not. I have read Watchmen, V for Vendetta, Swamp Thing, and The Killing Joke. A lot of people like to dick ride Alan Moore. I am not one of them. Some of his stuff I'd amazing, some of his stuff isn't. All the reviews I can find for From Hell, state 1 of 2 things. Either, "This is the Premier crem da la crem!" Or "This is so disturbing I'm absolutely sorry I read it."

Can those of you who have read it already help me decide whether or not it's worth the $50 to drop on the hardcover?

I'm not easily disturbed by violence, but no one wants to regret reading something they paid good money for.

Help me Obi Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope.
