[TOMT][REDDIT POST][2017/2018] An r/nosleep story about scientists discovering that an ancient civilization went extinct as a result of the "perfect drug".

Some elements of the plot might be inaccurate as I can't quite fully remember it.

A group of scientists are attempting to discover the cause behind the extinction of an ancient civilization and they're using a computer to aid them. Eventually the computer produces an answer but will not give it to the scientists because it would be harmful to humanity. After forcing the computer to give them the answer, they discover the perfect drug: no negative side effects, pure euphoria, and everlasting. If I recall correctly, one of the scientists take the drug and ends up sitting in his chair for days unwilling to do anything due to the euphoria.
