Disney is doubling down on, not distancing themselves from the sequel trilogy

There's a lot of buzz online with the Fandom Menace and youtubers, you know who they are, that Disney plans on ignoring and or retconing the sequel trilogy since there were no ST related announcements in the shareholder's meeting, but that can't be further from the truth. All the shows like the Mandalorian and the upcoming New Republic Era content are actively building up to the sequel trilogy and the "climactic story event" that Kathleen Kennedy promised from all of those shows is almost guaranteed to lead up to The Force Awakens. The lab at Nevarro where the experiments were kept is one of the biggest indicators since Snoke's theme played during the shot of one of the clones and the whole story with Grogu's blood as well.

Also, it's important to note how Lucasfilm reacted to the prequel hate, they didn't distance themselves from the prequels, but actively doubled down on and expanded upon them with Clone Wars, which fixed many of the flaws of the prequels. Once the new shows are done building up to the events of the sequels, future shows will expand upon the sequel timeline, I guarantee it.
