Suggestion: Endless Campaign-like Mode

Long story short: Playing almost 24 hours straight since buying the game, I have beat the campaign. I'm really into Fuser.

But now, I don't really know what else to do.

Freestyle is fun for messing around, but the numbers don't go up. You don't get XP, there's no score, etc. I want to earn XP so I can unlock more tracks/effects/etc.

On the other hand, Battles seem kind of confusing and frustrating. I don't really know what I'm doing or why I keep losing, and I'm not sure if I care enough to want to learn or get better at it. (To be honest I've never been into online competitive multiplayer in any game.)

I submitted a mix for the community event, but that didn't take very long.

I kind of wish this game had an Endless mode - a bit like Freestyle, but with goals, crowd requests and a score. Something you can earn XP from by doing well at satisfying goals and crowd score, but if you start doing badly, your set ends.

Maybe it could start off with easy goals and requests, and ramp up in difficulty the longer you go.

Also, maybe you could fine tune the difficulty, so that if you don't want any goals like "Play instrument for x beats" you can exclude them.

(If there's an official suggestion thread where HMX will see suggestions, my apologies for not realizing!)

Agree! Or maybe a 3 minute or 5 minute set or something like that would be nice.

Do the online coop freestyles, you still get xp and theres always people on! Im in there all the time and found a real good group of regulars i play with!

If you try it out and like it feel free to add me and I’ll join ya! FuserFan#9502

I'll give the online co-op a try eventually, but I'm more interested in just the single-player experience, as I'd rather play/mix alone.

Tbf the freestyle co-op is kinda like a single player experience. You just wait for your own turn, you have X time to build your own team. You gain xp and in the process you also get to listen to other ppls skills

You get XP from recording mixes in Freestyle and sharing them. That’s how I get XP for the most part. Co-op freestyle also gives you a great deal of XP if you want to play online.

That's cool, I didn't know that.

But yeah, part of what I'm missing in Freestyle is any structure/challenge. That's where the randomized challenges and crowd requests could come in.

And online is fine but I'm not super into playing with randoms on the internet, I'm more interested in the single-player side.

You get crowd requests in freestyle co-op. It’s not the same at the campaign challenges but still there.

Co-op freestyle, fun mixing together quick rounds keeps going and you get a decent amount of xp even without best remix. We have a group of about 5 of us we do co-op freestyle private 64 bar 2 rounds and get about 900-1000 xp each round.

Another great way to earn a LOT of xp is rating other peoples mixes on the social challenge. 10 rounds of voting will easily give a minimum 1500 xp if u keep going beyond 10 the xp just keeps going up so 20 votes would be easily 3-4k xp probably a lot more.

I don't farm XP but if I know I'm just going to be browsing reddit for a while I'll put on the Social Challenge and just go through mixes there like a playlist. You can quickly rack up XP without realising it

I’d love an online freestyle mode where viewers could drop in and watch you mixing - some days I’ll start a mix and get lost in it for 5-10 mins just layering tracks - would be nice to have an online component, even where you could duo or trio up with other players to play an unlimited set.

I like your idea for an endless mode or even a continuing random campaign mode. I hope the devs are watching.

You mean challenges basically. But with set things to use
