If I had the money to just start businesses for experience purposes, I wouldn't listen to these shit posts
Yeah 99% of the "self made" stories start with some variation of "His dad/mom/relative invested 60 grand to get the business going." Like, yeah, if one of my family members had 60 grand they could spare I'd start a business too.
advice for millionaires
How to become a millionaire:
Step one, be born a millionaire.
Step one: be born a billionaire
Step two: lose $999,000,000
Well, if you just lose $1,000,000 you’re a millionaire
We know he won't be a millionaire with that math
Edit: you can also lose one cent
Yep lol 😂 now I feel like an idiot too
Real advice, ngl, is to spend a lot of time studying and learning new things, especially how systems work. Later a business idea will actually have technical merit to it and you can understand what's viable to spend time on and what's not.
This is a lot of words without really saying anything
It is saying learn shit so you build a business that is useful instead of just making shit up and sucking.
Or learn shit so you know how to identify a business opportunity and how to seize it instead of making shit up and sucking. There's several ways this is good advice, how come it "says nothing"?
Not really, literally just saying invest into understanding the underlying mechanics of things such as economics, business.
No, it’s actually really true. You’re always going to be a replaceable cog in the machine until you have the sense to step out with a legitimately unique idea.
I take it comprehension is not your strong suit
Yeesh, max condescending corpo cringe energy.
I'm not being toxic. I don't understand the cringe
I personally found it cringe because of how out of touch it is. He’s acting like if the average 20 year old has enough money to start and fail multiple businesses. You need money to make money and all that.
Just do a couple react videos and fail.
I started a successful business in my 20s with little capital (basically, the costs to host a website online). And another business that hasn’t been as successful but also didn’t require more than the cost of hosting. Not saying that it’s easy but it can certainly be done and worth the time and effort.
Doing what exactly? It's always interesting to me that people say they do these things but never mention what the actual business or product is
It’s worth mentioning that this phenomenon you’ve uncovered probably has a lot to do with Reddit users not appreciating posts that come across as self-promotional, so I don’t volunteer specifics unless asked
Lol I have nothing to hide. My username is the business name. Check it out: theblogsmith.com
I started as a freelance writer and recently transitioned the business to an agency model. My other business is a print on demand store: tanksthatgetaround.com
Hope that answers your question sufficiently, congealed anal juice
Although I see where you're coming from, you don't necessarily need money to start a business. Someone I know ran a GoFundMe to raise money for his business. You just have to be an idea man or a strategy man. It takes a lot of work, but you can get there
Not to this extent. You may “find money” for one business and you will be lucky. Not every GoFundMe goes well. And to fail “a couple” of then you would need a pillow to land on and money to start another one.
Even if you succeed there is a chance some bigger firm will eat you alive. Or force you to sell. Or just compete you to death. Especially if you’re doing something innovative.
Unfortunately we still do not live in a dream where everyone can and will achieve what they really want. Even if it’s something so small like earning a living from a beloved job. Starting a firm is not as easy as it was in early capitalism. And as time goes on it will only be harder.
It's all about patents. Which the big corps have literally shoveled billions pf dollars in to to keep the average joe inventor in the dark.
Better hope your next invention hasn't been patented
Someone I know ran a GoFundMe to raise money for his business.
Did you miss the quote in the content that recommended starting and failing multiple businesses?
It's definitely out of touch to assume everyone in their 20s has the fiscal capabilities to launch multiple business attempts back to back before they're 30.
How much do you think it costs to start a business? Its honestly alot less then you think with the internet and china.. just find a product your're interested in with a high mark up and jump into that with your own twist or price market and sell online. I started mine with under a grand saved while in college a grew it to well into 6 figures.. never once used my computer science degree after that .. alot of products cost alot less then you would think to produce.
Dude if you really think that every 20 yo in the US has the opportunity, resources, positive influence, education, environment, funds, etc to start multiple businesses, you really need to open your eyes. You may not be trying to be toxic, but this is cringe because it makes no sense and furthermore insults and offends anyone who actually lives in reality.
Advice for middle age man Get a hair transplant Ur bank account says 400 your face screams who cares
bald is beautiful you brave bitch
Is there even a way to fix your hairline after 80% of it is gone though? Asking just in case happens when I get old.
Yeah hair transplant
You need a lot of money to go into a bussiness in the first place. Also just because it worked for you doesnt mean it would work for everyone. Thats like saying just go into engineering or medicine since they pay the most. Some people arent cut out for that field.
lol bro why don’t you just start some businesses bro it’s that easy
The page sharing this is probably selling sketchy fitness products from various MLM companies thinking they're an "entrepreneur".
never trust something associated with kevin o'leary
OOTL. IIRC he’s the guy from Shark Tank. What’s wrong with him?
[deleted]
“Have enough money to start multiple businesses because your dad is rich”. Fify Kevin
is it cringy that he let his wife take the dui after killing two people drunk in a boat?
This is so trash I thought it was a reddit add
Step 1. Wait for you to turn 20
Step 2. Start Multiple business
Step 3. Cover yourself in debt
Where do i get cash to start a business
See you're already fucking up. Its multiple businesses you need to start
For god's sake you don't need $400 million to be happy. Balance studdying and being a good person and you'll live a fulfilling life.
I spent my 20s just trying to have enough for rent. I didn't know I was suppose to be starting multiple businesses!
I loathe Kevin 'O Leary. Despite being entirely self made from a middle class family, he's almost alien to any regular human being. He believes in squeezing as much money out of people as humanly possible. He once said on live TV that we should reopen everything and risk thousands dying so the economy's okay. And he has done a ton of impressive deals, his attitude that anyone can be just like him is laughable. Sure you can be, as long as you use as many legal loopholes as humanly possible. He is so out of touch to actual people it is absurd to me, which makes it even funnier when he considered running for Prime Minister.
Instructions unclear. Now im in debt.
Creed Bratton has never filed for bankruptcy. When Creed Bratton gets in trouble, he transfers his debt to...
William Charles Schneider
I DECLARE BANKRUPTCY!!!
I exist. Now I'm in debt.
Shame your parents didn't have a good plan before they fucked without a condom eh?
Well thats not very nice.
Yeah fair enough, my bad for being a blunt dickhead there. Not trying to be a complete ass, but like, that's the reason you're in debt, not just merely because you exist, right? Could've avoided this debt thing if they actually had enough money to cover their kid
Clearly you didn’t open enough businesses
Instructions unclear. Now my organs are being sold at black market.
