I’m actually not sure. I’ll have to test how my 15 handles each!

Isn’t the performance actually better in S? While S# increases the handling in cornering?

i only know CVT from my previous Murano Z50, where it behaved exactly as you would expect (engine revs up to max power and stays there until you accellerated to the desired speed).

Guess i'll have to learn to drive this one ;)

i was just a bit perplexed why i would use a CVT like i had a normal manual transmission, isn't that really inefficient?

i used manual shift on my newer Murano Z51 (standard 6 speed auto) for mountain roads going down and generally to slow down without using brakes.

Think of it more like at what point you want the turbo to kick in. It changes the ECUs mapping on the fly and increases the acceleration curve. Switching from I to S# you can feel the turbo kick in immediately

First Subaru for me. Looking forward to putting plates on it next week. My last Boxer engine was in an Alfa Romeo 33 many years ago. Hoping my My12 Murano finds a good home.
I was very impressed by the 2.0 Turbo but don't understand the fake gears in S and S#...
