This looks like a really nice print, what printer do you have? is it an FDM printer?

No I have an anycubic photon s , only had it for 2 months now and I’ve gotta say that the files these guys provided were perfectly set up , no adjustments on supports needed , every part printed to near perfection , I’m no expert with printing at all and this is my first printer so can recommend these designs enough

any chance you could send me the link? i can't see it on the DFD gumroad shop, but maybe i'm looking in the wrong place!

edit: ignore me! i missed it while i was looking through the whole lot, and its not listed as x-wing, but found it now :)

That is interesting, i have an AnyCubic Photon as well, i assume you needed to print this in multiple parts then?

Yea came in multiple parts , not gonna lie it took about 2 weeks of 1 print a day , around 6-8 hours per print for the large components but was totally worth it

Looks great! I just got a resin printer haven’t set it up yet. How much material did you need for this? Cost? Just curious.

Don’t think I went over 500ml of grey resin , which was 30 odd pounds

Thanks. Came out great and you did a nice job on the paint as well! Good work!

I wanna buy a 3D printer but I don’t know where to start I’m looking for one that can 3D print Star Wars models (legion sized)

Fdm is the easiest and cheapest type. Im a fan of ultimaker but theyre expensive

Depending on how much you want to spend the photon series is simple to use and does great quality for miniatures of all varieties

Do I need a computer to work it I have a laptop would that work to use?

You don’t need anything high spec but you will need it to just ‘slice’ the files , it’s very simple to do , I recommend this video to explain https://youtu.be/rAUCfU-i0yI

Chitubox is what I use and it’s free , the printer will come with software to use also , I find using chitubox to support the files and orient them is best and then import that into the provided software for your printer for the best results , as the one provided if specifically set up for your printer , don’t worry it’s no way near as daunting as it sounds , I’m only 2 months in and have got to grips with it
