Video camera not registering as on in the truck- having to pick it up and place it down several times until it'll finally work. Anyone else having this issue?

It's been an issue I've been dealing with for the last few days. I turn on video cameras, take them inside, set them down (either on some surface or using tripod, same bug still occurs), and go back to the truck to check for ghost orbs only to find out that the camera isn't being registered as turned on. On small maps, it'll still display as '01/01' for video camera count, not 02/02 as it should be. When I go back in to make sure I turned it on, it'll still be on. I have to pick it up and replace it down many times before the truck will finally register that the camera is on for monitoring the room. I've noticed this bug is more frequent in single player mode than it is in multiplayer.
