you may be on to something though. i do feel like it may have something to do with my PS5. a setting or something.

ok, I just wanted to make sure you didn't have your audio output device set up wrong.

WW84 is dolby atmos and TDKR is 5.1.

but i’ve played other movies with 5.1 and had no problems.

sounds like you aren't getting the center channel sound. Is this only and always happening on movies with 5.1 surround sound?

try adjusting the audio output on your PS5 under your settings.

under ‘general’ you’ll see 3 options under ‘audio format’ try each one and see if that fixes the problem. that’s what worked for me.

I’m now having this problem streaming it on an Apple TV...

No I had to mess with some audio settings and it worked fine

I’m having the same issue did you ever find out how to fix it?

i tried streaming TDKR on my PS5 and the strangest thing happened. everything in the movie sounded fine until until dialogue began. i couldn’t hear anyone’s dialogue in the movie, but they’re mouths were moving. i could hear EVERYTHING else though. i could hear music, the foley, and i could hear bane’s dialogue ironically enough, but no one else’s.

does anyone know what the deal is with this? is it something on my end? has anyone else encountered this?

i immediately tested several other movies (even the first 2 batman movies) and didn’t encounter the problem.

edit: i just tried it with Wonder Woman 84 and got the same thing. everything can be heard but there’s dialogue audio.
