I think it is just a kinda of inconsistency, for example i wanted to play Garen with it, thought i would be funny and his E, but it just dosen't work.

> Ravenous hydra ignores persistent damage but works with any other types of damage.

Not any other type of damage, it does not apply on Sivir's W or Nocturne's passive for example which is considered "default damage".

Rav Hydra does not work with GP R, and Kennen R for example

The game has different damage types (check on wiki)
Lucian and MF ultimates are persistent damage. (Same as singed Q, Garen E, Cassio W, morde P). Ravenous hydra ignores persistent damage but works with any other types of damage. Katarina R is area ability. (Same as gp R for example)

ITs stupid. It works with Kata R ( but if im not mistaken, Katas R apply on hits ) but not with Samira R for example

damage types. rav hydra ignores persistent damage i think

I saw an ashe build it and was surprised to see hydra procs from ashe w

Hi, recently, I started building Ravenous Hydra on diffrent champions to find some weird synergies. After testing a lot of champs, i found out that Ravenous Hydra does not work on Miss Fortune and Lucian R abilities.Any idea why? Or this is just Rito not being consistent ?

EDIT/UPDATE : Looks like, in most cases, if ability can be interrupted, Ravenous Hydra will not work.

So in cases Like Fiddl R, Swain R Hydra will apply, but in Kennen R and GP R it wont :)

BONUS - Few champions that I recently checked, ( mostly ADC's ) that fully works with Ravenous Hydra:

Brand ( even his passive ), Lux, Ezreal, Jinx ( even her Chompers ), Jhin, Cho.

In case Of Aphelios, All of his abilities have AOE Ravenous Hydra effect, beside his Fire projectiles from infernum attack and small chakramsAnd In Karthus case, only his E and W does not work.

Sorry for the grammar mistakes.
