Life skills for a non-verbal student
I have an 18 year old student who I teach life skills. They're non-verbal and according to their records has the mental age of about 2-3. They have DS and autism. They will never live without full assistance but I want to add to their independence. They can already get dressed themself and we're working on kitchen skills like using visual recipes, putting away cutlery from the dish washer etc.
Do you have any more ideas for me?
