My former cult upbringing may ruin my relationship and I fucking hate it

I started seeing my physician’s (of 20 years) son after randomly meeting him 6 months ago. We’re head over heels in love. We’ve started working together and have an office within the medical building so I see his mom and dad (building operator) daily. We’ve had a great relationship since the start of our relationship, going up to their cottage weekly, hanging out at the house often, laughing, eating, drinking. Literally amazing. And since she’s been our doctor for so long, we always had good (but naturally distant) ties with the family. Things literally couldn’t be going smoother. They are hardcore catholic and knew about my JW upbringing. They also knew that I left approx 10 years ago. In the meantime, I’ve seriously started looking into converting to Catholicism. However, now that they notice this is more than a fling (we’re both in our 30’s...) they decided that I’m secretly still a JW who’s trying to convert my bf and that every time he comes up to my cottage (mom is POMO and dad is PIMI) that we’re holding conversion meetings lol. They’re trying actively to ruin our relationship. I know they’re major assholes and wrong in this situation, but I can’t believe that even after a decade, this cult bs is following me around. I’m so frustrated.
