Travel Vlogs like Toycat?

Question

Hi,

I'm a very new Toycat convert. I initially started with the second channel Geography videos to learn about geography/geopolitical facts but I've dived deeper into his older travel vlog videos and content from his third channel.

I just enjoy how chilled his travel vlogs are and I feel like I learn so much about random interesting things about the history/politics of the places he visit. He obviously doesn't know everything about the countries he visited but Andre is always eternally curious and shares the random fascinating things he discovers.

I was just wondering are there any other travel vlog channels like Andrew? I've watched quite a lot of travel vlogs over the years but a majority of them just feels like drawn out instagram posts and a really shallow tour of the big tourist traps. I guess the closest I can think of is the Rare Earth channel but that is way more scripted and less of a spontaneous and casual experience than toycat.

Any recommendations would be appreciated

Thanks for the reply! I do watch Abroad in Japan and mad respect for the amount of content he makes but I personally prefer 'Life Where I'm From'. Though I feel I'm already quite knowledgeable about Japan and wish there were more high quality channels like them that focus on a bigger variety of countries or the less visited ones.

Oh I guess I also watch Bald and Bankrupt to get a taste of the former Soviet states and Russia.
