How to create an Application Link

I've seen a setting in my Edge install that will launch my desktop Tidal application when the correct link is clicked on a webpage. If you open settings and search for 'Application links' you will see what link redirects are configured.

How do I manually create links, so for example, Launch the Twitter desktop app when I click on the link for a tweet?
