got spat at by anti-masker

got spat at by a customer not wearing a mask. couldn’t issue a refund for the valid reason that he couldn't provide proof of purchase. told him i’d be happy to refund the item when he came back with some. he went off on one and spat at my face.

had a bit of a cry in the toilets. i want to quit. wear a mask and be nice. it’s the bare minimum you can do.

has anyone else dealt with this sort of thing? what do you do to cope? any advice pls!!
