Marinette missed an obvious clue to who Chat was.

Anyways, in the miracle queen episode, literally everyone got stung by the bees. They found themselves into peoples homes, at the pool, outdoors, and even followed them around... you get the idea.

the only two people who didn’t get stung were Ladybug and Chat Noir, since they were underwater.

(plus Mayura and Hawkmoth because Chloe probably ordered them to ignore them, and Master Fu because of his shell.

Chloe then had every mind control subject that had ever used a miraculous come to her. I’m surprised that Marinette didn’t notice that Adrien wasn’t in that lineup, and didn’t start freaking out thinking he was dead or drowning in the river or something. We all know that Marinette prioritizes Adrien, as seen in Volpina where she ignores her partner Chat Noir to go after him, even though Chat says that it’s an illusion.

How did she rationalize him missing in her mind? I doubt she didn’t notice, but it’s possible in the moment she forgot, I guess. However, afterwards, when she was writing this in her diary as we all know she does, or thinking over that VERY important battle, didn’t she wonder where Adrien was?

She’d knows that there’s only 5 people he could be: Mayura, Chat Noir, Hawkmoth, Master Fu, and Ladybug. 2 of those aren’t options, and she always believes the best about Adrien (for example, when she refused to believe he was Hawkmoth), so she’d think that he was Chat Noir.

I wonder if she’ll realize this next season. Hmm.

Anyone got any thoughts on this?
