Soyeon having the most lines is reasonable.

People complain that she has more lines than the main vocalists and that she doesn't give the other members enough lines, but she has every right to do so. Soyeon is a great vocalist, the best rapper of 4th gen, and her stage presence is insane. She writes and produces almost all of their music. If you were in her position, wouldn't you want to sing your own songs too and not give valuable lines to someone who's tone deaf (Shuhua)?

The way Soyeon structures the songs is top-tier and all the members match the lines they sing tonally and vocally. People get mad at Soyeon because they know she has more creative control, but in the end, she does not have the final say.

To Soyeon, it's not about line distribution and sales and whatnot, it's about the quality of her songs. She gives Yuqi deep parts, Minnie high notes, etc because she knows they will add to the song. And if she specifically wrote an opening verse and a rap for herself, she should be allowed to sing/rap them.

I mean, call it what you will, but if I worked my ass off, rolling through 2 different survival shows, make my own debut because my own company was too incompetent to debut me on schedule, built the group by myself from the ground up, I'd be mad too if I had to share the same spotlight as another member who hasn't shown any signs of improvement even almost 3 years after debut.

I love (G)I-DLE, but the amount of individual effort that the members put in is very obvious. And people really need to stop using Shuhua as a shield to attack Soyeon.
