Do you recommend assistance?

I've got a full laproscopic hysterectomy scheduled for 2/24, overnight in hospital, return home on 2/25. My partner can be home with me the rest of that week, but needs to return to work on the Monday after. I have another relative who is willing and able to come for a week or so if needed. So.... do you think that will be needed?
