We will lose just as many playing Kyle Guy, Justin James, and Jamius Ramsey, hell we might even lose more (which is why Walton won’t do it, he’s got his own ass to look after) but what will happen is we can at least build the trade value of those three guys. Because right now they have none. There is literally zero downside and a huge upside for our front office....

It's disappointing to see how few people can actually see the bigger picture in all of this. Hiring a new coach is a terrible idea right now. Let Monte get his guy AFTER Luke has lead us to a top pick in this stacked draft. Gentry isn't getting us to the playoffs, but he may win a couple more meaningless games.

Or people are seeing the bigger picture and they want a coach who can develop our youth while tanking instead of playing guys like Cory Joseph 20 minutes per game.... Walton is a fucking Neanderthal and should be fired. We can still tank and play our younger guys more so that they can have a smidge of trade value...
He's playing plenty of young guys. Metu, Bagley & Tyrese all part of the rotation.
The talent on the bench is pretty thin, I don't think there's a better option than Cojo right now.
Bagley is in his third season and was a first round pick, Halliburton has played great since day 1 so it’s a no brainer playing him. Metu just recently started getting minutes, which was LONG overdue. Kyle guy and Metu were both great in preseason. And metu deserved playtime BEFORE whiteside got injured. We gain nothing by playing Corey Joseph 20mpg, it’s stupid. There definitely are better options that will have trade value if we decide we don’t want them. Not a single team in the league will touch Joseph. He’s the worst performing offensive player on our team statistically and we are the worst defensive team in the league so why is he playing him so much? There’s no arguing with this it’s straight idiotic. We still have Guy, James, Ramsey who aren’t getting minutes. Not sure why James is getting minutes over Guy. Waltons rotations are statistically awful too. Someone did a post about that here not too long ago. So back to my point if were tanking and the fans just “aren’t seeing the bigger picture” then why the fuck aren’t we doing things to benefit our future.
