The OFFICIAL Flair Thread

If you would like to add flair to your username, please post a comment here. If you requested flair in the previous thread and have not received it, request it again here. The format is:

<School> - <Type of Engineering>

Example:

University of Washington - Electrical

For the sake of brevity, please omit the word "Engineering" from your discipline. Your presence in r/EngineeringStudents would lead us to assume that "University of Washington - Electrical" is Electrical Engineering.

Also for the sake of brevity, please only put down one school. If you went to multiple schools, pick your favorite school, your highest degree, current school, whatev. If it can be easily abbreviated, that would be great. For example, everyone knows what "UCLA" is. No need to create a monster string for your flair.

When you put down your flair request, please omit the brackets and obey the format. That makes it easier for us to cut and paste and get all of these taken care of faster.

Flair is completely optional. You have no obligation to put anything down. You may omit any part of it as well. Just school, just discipline, nothing at all, that's all fine.

Flair does not validate your comments. When speaking on technical matters, right is right, wrong is wrong, regardless of what the flair says.

A little interdisciplinary teasing and school rivalry is fine, fun, and healthy, but hostility or incivility to someone based on their school or discipline will not be tolerated.

The previous thread is now obsolete and will not be monitored.

EDIT: Flair requests that violate the format will be ignored. We don't have time to fix and reformat. It's a simple format to follow really, I don't see how you could have a problem with it.
