Detailed results for top 10 albums.
Some trivia and notes:
-
150 corrections had to be manually made because of typos. ~8 lists were rejected by the program as they didn't fit the format.
-
The album with the most typos was unsurprisingly HAIM - Women in Music Pt. III (once more).
-
SAWAYAMA was #1 in 29 people's lists, folklore was #1 in 59. SAWAYAMA won by being in more lists.
-
Only 5 albums from the second half of the year entered the list.
-
Albums that fell out of top 25 since Mid-Year AOTY:
High Road #20 -> #43
Heaven To a Tortured Mind #21 -> #33
The New Abnormal #23 -> #31
Notes on a Conditional Form #24 -> #60
The Slow Rush #25 -> #35
-
Some albums from popular artists that noticeably underperformed: Ellie Goulding's Brightest Blue got 42 points, Justin Bieber's Changes got 1 points, La Roux's Supervision got 0 points.
-
I only checked the top 100 for validity (album being released in 2020). If you see any errors (including typos), let me know so that I can fix it.
