Winter's Flame
Though my limbs shiver on this cold winter's night
Under the rounded moon's bright emitting light,
The heated whispers spoken softly, sensually in my ear
Floods my veins with warmth, your voice I can only hear.
My quivering limbs no longer shake in the wake of your tight, sturdy embrace.
The trace of your hands gliding along my bare warmed skin,
Ignites this furiously fervent flame from within.
A heated flame that has us immersed,
Feeling as though we are the only ones in this wide yet small universe
On this night the wind does not blow,
From the darkened diamond sky above, down comes the purified white snow.
In these safe secure arms that cradle me close
Let us stay in this far away place, never alone forever with no woes.
This is my first time trying to write a love poem, I usually write darker things but I was challenged to write something happy so here is my attempt, hope you like it lol

That's so sweet ❤❤ I love your use of description and subtle detail, and...
the alliteration here is gorgeous!
Thank you so much! This type of scene is not what I'm used to writing so I tried really hard to paint a picture, I'm glad you enjoyed it ^-^
