Tip for practicing listening to numbers
This is an exercise I made up to help me practicing listening to numbers. It's challenging, but after just a week of doing this I was able to keep up with newscasts a lot better.
I made a list of about 500 common numbers that occur in practice here, including small numbers, big numbers, and recent years:

Select all (CTRL+A) and copy-paste them into the box here:
Click "Randomize". Then copy-paste the first 50 or so rows into Google Translate (French):
https://translate.google.com/?sl=fr&tl=en
Then click the speaker to start reading it out loud. Close your eyes and listening and try to picture the numbers as it reads. If the numbers are going too fast for you to understand, click stop, then click the speaker icon again. It will read them again except more slowly. (If you're at a beginner level, you can read along as it reads.)
Need more numbers? Go back to your random list and take the next 50. Or refresh the page, click Continue, and get a new set.
You can also use this as a speaking exercise by just reading the numbers out loud instead of listening to them.
Notes on the list: I duplicated some especially common numbers including: 1-31 (because they occur frequently in dates and times), multiples of 10 and multiples of 5, 99, and the last few years. I also put in some interesting variants I see a lot like "1,2 million" and "2 million et demi". Feel free to customize the list to your liking!
