Thread color chart help
I’ve had trouble where some of my thread colors aren’t listed on the software I’m using (pe design 11 and Embrilliance sketch artists lvl 3).
How would I go about getting the color to put into the program. The thread is shiny in a way that I cannot really take color data from an image of it meaningfully.
Let me know if anyone has any solutions!

Is it that the thread brand is not recognised in the software? They often have conversion charts in the box or on website, so you can match with other thread brands.
Brands also sell physical card colour charts if that helps, about $5 each thread type.
I’ll look into it. It was advertised as brother thread, but is simplicity pro brand.
I haven’t been able to find any relevant info from searching. One example is nestles ETP0145 which I can only find on the brother website with almost no info.
I can’t find that etp0145 in the software anywhere, and I don’t know how to get an accurate color from it to put in as a new thread. I’m also colorblind so it’s really hard to just visually do it.
