Is this Political Pinned Post going to remain there?

Now that we have established that we have politically-minded moderators who are more interested in showing their allegiance than the hobby

The mods are expressing their solidarity with the largest civil rights movement in the history of the US. If you are allergic to politics, fair enough, but I don't see how an statement in support of protestors against racism is controversial in any way. Unless someone is offended by protests against racism, in which case, I'm glad they're put off and leave this community.

I'm offended that it doesn't concern 40k at all and that it politicize a subreddit I follow toward an ideology I do not follow.

And if I'm going by current trends, there is ground to politicization of things on the internet to be, justly so, frowned upon.

Just keep scrolling it's one stickied post sorry that a single post about a human rights issue upsets you enough that you forget how to scroll on your favorite army guy subreddit

just pretend it's not there

Oh boy! You would have done a number in the 30s!

It's easy to say for you because it goes your way, today. But we all know you wouldn't follow your own advice if that was not the case.

Well I doubt there would be a case, more likely you are of the sort that probably assume that everyone and anyone in BLM is some communist sleeper cell from china here to destabilize the country and if that's the case I am sorry that you feel that way but there is a problem in the country that people like you want to ignore and that's fine but it isn't really up to you to decide what gets posted on a subreddit that you don't own. It's also a little asinine to claim Warhammer 40k isn't political as it is most certainly a satire and critique of many real world issues albeit exaggerated but that is what makes it satire. So please if you truly are so bothered to see one stickied post that has links to fundraisers to support innocent families that have been wronged by the very force that is intended to protect them, kindly see yourself out of here.

I'm not assuming anything about what you think. I'd appreciate if you would return the favor.

I just don't like them and I don't like politics being shoved in my face whenever I come here that's really all there is.

Don't worry though, you will end up succeeding in getting rid of people like me. But fair warning, it might be you tomorrow being shown the door. Mark my words.

we have politically-minded moderators who are more interested in showing their allegiance than the hobby, and that the political climate has changed, can we put all this to rest and finally focus on the hobby?

Allegiance? allegiance to what, people? basic human rights?
The last time I checked (this morning), racism is still a thing and it sucks. If you don't like the views of the moderators, feel free to visit other subreddits, or start your own.

It is offputting that someone who comes here to get 40krp info has to stumble first thing into politics.

I don't see how it is off-putting to see ONE message about an event in the past - related to racism.
Racism is bad, period. If the post troubles you (it really shouldn't, imho) then simply ignore it and move on.

Also, this is not an issue when you sort by New.

To BLM.

Believe it or not, you don't need to be for the mantra of BLM to be against Racism.

It's not an issue if you do x

You have any idea the amount of abuse that can be justified that way?

It's not because something can be circumvented that it is right.
