The wait is the best. Only count 2-5 days when you spot a bunch alive. Sometimes I even wait 7 days when I only spot like 1 or 2 because they'll probably die and the food will pollute the water even more. But if you have a batch appearing suddenly then I'd start feeding on 2nd day

So I started a new tank the other day. But so far they haven't begun to hatch. Most likely because of the temperature of my house.

Anyway, my question is should you follow the directions strictly and start feeding five days after you've inserted Packet 2 or should you wait until five days after the day they actually begin to hatch?

Should you hold off the first feeding until they hatch?
