I am also a member of the Amazon gang, but I got smoked last week as a member of the apple gang… Which made no sense as they completely blew away all of the EPS and revenue estimates. I’m terrified that Amazon is going to pay the price for what is going on with GameStop and the liquidation of large-cap stocks for hedge funds to free up money

7
Cashmoneytendies•

Apple straight fucked me too even tho they had record earnings, but for some reason I keep running back.

Amzn has holidays + covid for Q4 2020.

Can’t go tits up this time

7
IndyCollector24•

I’ve been DCA down since earnings...it’s been a 10% in a week, which is NOT what Apple does and I can’t remember the last week that’s happened. It’s due to HF selling to cover shorts or invest elsewhere. I’ve been scooping up more shares as it’s dropped and it will recover soon.

I have a shit load of Amazon shares and I have no doubt it was similarly crush earnings, which should have me feeling good, but this market is fucked and it could go either way

1
Cashmoneytendies•

I played AAPL earnings before, the one right before the split, I think it was in July? It went up 10%+ the next day (fb and Amzn did as well), could’ve just cause of the tech bubble.

I know most of the big guys are allocating positions to cover, I have a good feeling about amzn. I’ll post the loss or gain porn. I have 2 3500c weeklies I may sell one if there is an earnings run up Monday /Tuesday before they report

3
BarcaWalls•

Yeah, Apple was disappointing largely a result of what’s going on in our retard factory. Still held my positions. I don’t know how AMZN doesn’t split this year. A 10:1 would be nice, heck I’ll even take a 5:1. There AWS services are crushing it too

All I anticipate at this point is a new Lambo from my 5 GME shares.

15
THE_LORD_HERESY•

A C8 for me.

5
dzzh•

Why? You don't have no stonks?

3
THE_LORD_HERESY•

Was only able to grab 2 GME before robinhood gave me the finger. However, I have plenty of NOk and AMC stinks.

But the C8 is what I'm buying regardless as I'm selling my home, moving to another state, buying a new home and grabbing a C8 with the leftover cash.

2
dzzh•

No need to run, man. SEC won't hunt you for your two shares.

3
JJelPrezidente•

You can buy GME through Revolut app to ad some bolt ons to that C8💎

2
StopJLyn•

What's a C8

1
RealRobinofLoxley•

C8 all day

$NOK GAAAANG

SVR222•

Looking forward to Amazon and PAyPal. BABA, Pfizer and Peloton will be interesting.

6
poop_fart_420•

do u have any reason to believe peloton will smash earning expectations?

i genuinely want toknow because i also am considering buyng a fd for it

2
SVR222•

I have no idea, I don’t follow this company very closely, I just know multiple people who bought one for Christmas. I think with the extension of COVID lockdown plus a few more months of winter, more people may have justified a purchase...then again, I’m not sure how aggressive the company’s sales projections were.

Regeneron down 6% this week, earnings leak?

4

Thank you! Something useful finally!

Forgive my monkey brain, but I don't quite understand the purpose of earning releases. Would someone inform me of the purpose?

How do you know ?

1

I got 300 shares for CRSR 🚀🚀🚀🚀

2

I'm afraid we might again see what happened to APPL last week where earnings were spectacular but due to the hedge funds liquidating to cover their losses, the whole market saw a dip - especially tech. Would be cautious playing ER next week, but I don't know anything because I'm not a financial advisor.

Well well well Mr. AutoMod.... I see that you can be cordial. This response is a lot nicer than when you posted " Holy shit. Calm down Chad Dickens " on my recent post.

GME will probably explode up on earnings!

Jokes aside, bullish on spotify

2
mugu22•

Any reason for SPOT?

2

Mostly off of NFLX earnings and recent podcast acquisitions leading to a boost in numbers

2
BarcaWalls•

Kind of interested to see Peloton. Liquidated my positions from March $$$ for some $GME but love what they’re doing; great platform, great hardware, but certainly some growing pains on supply chain side. Interesting to see Affirm, with 20% of revenue coming from Peloton , start to move in the opposite direction

What do you masties think snap will do?
