r/MassEffect community gets very confused as to why an Admiral can't be linked to an Undersecretary of the United Nations
So, no idea when, how, why, or even who implemented r/masseffect 's rule number 4.
TLDR; The Expanse related posts are banned on the ME subreddit. Someone posts a picture of the character from The Expanse series 'Chrisjen Avasarala', who also voiced an amazing character named 'Admiral Raan' from ME, and the post was in a very positive manner. But we all have questions. Choice mod responses.
[Im sure the mods of r/theexpanse are excellent mods and you seem to like how they mod but then why not just go there? If you want to discuss the expanse and mass effect and the mods of that sub are okay with it, then just go there. You seem to think this subreddit is "shitty" anyway for limiting content to only be about the things the subreddit is for.](https://www.reddit.com/r/masseffect/comments/l7kbkh/admiral_raan_kicking_ass_and_taking_names_in/gla8oda?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3)
After being accused of removing comments, mod replies with "What? No i didnt. I literally only removed the post. But go off i guess. I really don't care for your accusations." (When I look at the post it says
Sorry, this post was deleted by the person who originally posted it.
but okay)
Another user gets downvoted due to mentioning Firefly.
Alas that's the most of the drama (apart from more users giving the mods shit) as if you sort by "controversial" all you get is conversations about the casting.

Screw mass effect, the best ending involves killing the best race.
Geth 4 Life, synthesis or control are the only options because I will not kill the robros.
Seriously though, mass effects fans are always cranky.
As a Mass Effect fan I can confirm unless I am in the act of romancing Garrus.
I don't get how masseffect is usually a garbage fire, yet dragonage is incredibly welcoming and chill(or at least was a couple years ago when I binged Bioware games)
You'd think two rpg communities from the same developer would be similar.
Were you not around for the "mages deserve it" threads?

I brought it up because every time the topic is discussed in depth, the thread turns into a dramatic shitshow, not to take sides in the shitshow that would inevitably occur if we talked about it here.
I gotta say, the da sub on here is nice, but the da forum on the original bioware site was a nuclear waste dump, especially when da2 was released.
Maybe it's because dragon age fans aren't bitter about their most recent game, and don't have "actually <game x> wasn't that bad" threads every week.
Maybe it's because dragon age mods or the series itself promote more discussion than their ME counterparts. (I'm of the opinion DA just has a lot more to talk about than ME)
Or maybe it's just because sci-fi attracts more obnoxious people (see: Sad Puppies).

They are two very different games.
Sounds like the reapers got you indoctrinated out here choosing control. I always synthesize because Edi is waifu. But Geth do slap and Legion named themselves in the coolest way possible.
out out out. destruction was the only right choice.
It’s unfortunately is, but the geth are too good.
They must be saved.
