Step one: Take over the Ynn all the way to Svemel
Step two: Convert to Drozma Tur
Step three: Drown the city of Svemel with gold and relics as you turn it into a massive hoard for the Green Dragon god
Seriously though, bravo for going so creatively off the rails.
Im still fairly new to the mod, no clue who that is, lol.
Creative is a word we could use for this, yes. I was mostly curious as to what happens if i block Venail's mission tree at the right spots, as well as the fun of "red monsters in red place". Plan is to turtle up, dev absurdly high, and build a navy to protecc but also privateer
Well there's a huge Mississipi-like river north-west of where your nation is, go far up the river and you'll find dragon worshippers. Though they don't actually have content yet, so you're not missing out on much. My suggestion was a joke
This campaign is a joke, so they'll be like coins in a dragon's hoard then!
What does happen if you pour a ton of gold into that hoard and go dragon path in the mission tree? I never got that far because picked up another campaign
It's meant to be a spoiler and I'm not 100% sure on the details either way
Oh right! Sorry, I was looking forward to doing it but bjarnariki seemed so appealing so decided to jump on it
I have seperate Venail and Kobold playthroughs, and wondered what would happen if i took things a different direction.
Used Show Strength on Bluescale and Nimscodd to tech fast, colonized Lonely Isle, and then Cas Column. I was hopong for gold, but fish will do.
I exploited my home provinces to reduce their dev and build cash, then threw a war against Nomscodd and Gawed to send my capitol west. Conquered the ruinborn minor in the Bloodgrove and colonized a couple more.
Goal one of "Become the Bloodscales" accomplished, goal two of "see what happens with Venail" became the focus. Things became more complicated when they spawned a fully colonized 22 dev province on my borders. Within a gew years, theyd declared war, but thanks to AI unreliability, i managed to win and take a few nearly done colonies.
I hadnt realized that i could declare on colonial nations without provoking the colonizer, but once i did i took their last provinces in the region. Now, i wait, watch, and also try to figure out how to win the next war.

Its a waste of missions, it abandons their religious mechanics, and its inconvenient to rush.
But damnit if i wasnt giggling for an hour.
This reminds me of the time I tried to form Cursed Castanor as Giberd with Elven Forebears faith (I failed, but had an entertaining few decades along the way)
honestly, i feel like kobold religious mechanic needs a slight rework, not for the ones in the dragoncoast, but for those outside of it, like the darkscales or goldscales (and whatever else they might add at one point) surely the darkscales and goldscales should have a hoard mechanic centered where they live. maybe make a "heretic" religion that's functionally the same but with different localization?
i know kobolds aren't likely to get any major new factions, but i do hope darkscales get a bit of love with a mission tree focused on taking the dwarovar at some point, i rather like playing them with their absolute shit troops.
As it just so happens, in another thread i was told the Darkscales and their formable and religion (serpent's cult) have more features coming eventually, so we're in luck!
ah, very nice.
