any solutions?

Question

so i have a large number of songs (mp3) in a folder

now, all of them have the song name in the title, and the usual stuff.... but they also have the name of the downloader i used in the title,

now i can go to each file and rename it to remove the name of the downloader...but im wondering if theres a shorter way as there are a lot of songs

edit: nvm i renamed them

There must be a way to do this. you could probably automate it using something like an autohotkeys script.

Edit: how many songs just out of interest?

Ah, I spent all morning at work thinking about how to write a little script that would delete certain words from file names, and possibly reorganise the band/title format. Thought you might be talking like thousands. My programming skills aren't very developed but I'm sure it's possible, often I find exploring the question more satisfying than the answer.

There is multiple software for renaming files so you would be doing something that already exist

I didnt know that, I suspect it would have occurred had I stopped to consider beyond simply enjoying thinking about how to write it.
