Using a 20-30s section of audio in a portfolio project

Hello,
I'm not that familiar with fair use and copyright, but I wanted to know if those with more knowledge could give me their POV about this.

I'm planning on making some very short animations on After Effects and wanted to use some audio from a 1998 video game. Probably between 15-30s to make it interesting.
I would want to add it on a portfolio (so 0 financial profit from this), but I'm unsure if that is possible and fall under fair use.
