Bought my first hand planer looking for simple projects to hone my skills

Hey all!

So I'm slowly getting into woodworking with hand tools I bought a little smoothing plane from Canadian Tire and I love using it

I have plenty of power tools including a Ryobi electric planer, but I like the patience and skill it takes to use hand tools.

I'm looking for some small/ medium projects that can be done for under $50 in a weekend to hone my skills with a planer, if you have any links or reccomendations I'd really appreciate it!

I don't mind buying other hand tools if needed like a coping or pull saw if the project calls for it but I only have access to a home Depot and a few big box stores so my choices are kind of limited
