anticipation will kill this album

i’ve seen a lot of negativity on this subreddit, with people being angry and impatient towards rashads ‘upcoming album’. even just towards him in general.

i as well as the rest of you am obviously keen for more music from him, but he doesn’t actually owe us anything.

when there is a new album, we are going to be disappointed if we keep up this attitude. “we’ve waited this long it better be good!” “it’ll be better than TST!” “he owes us!” any thoughts like that will ruin this. it’ll obviously be a new project for us to digest for what it is. if we go into it with no prior expectations, we will truly enjoy it.

he’s an amazing artist and the suns tirade truly feels timeless. his music is authentic and you can tell he’s only going to put out what feels authentic and ready in his eyes. let’s appreciate what he’s created and let him do the rest :)
