“Exotic” Weed

Does anybody else hate the term exotics when it comes to weed? I swear people who sell bud learned that word and haven’t stopped using it since. These days anything with half visible trichomes and a slight hue of purple will be labeled as “exotic” and up-charged for quite literally no reason.

Sure the word is cool but it’s pretty much lost its meaning when everything is labeled as such. Mids are thrown into fake branded eighth bags and people will buy them in illegal states thinking it’s “exotic” because that’s what they were told. In reality weed is just weed, genetics and grow are the most important factors when it comes to quality. There’s good weed and bad weed. You can have some fire looking purple “exotic” weed with a horrible cure that smokes way too rough.

It’s just a term that’s lost it’s meaning and has been way overused at this point.
