How to capture good audio for your YouTube videos

Tips & Tricks

So it was quite a while ago, but I surveyed the subreddit to find out if you all would be interested in me sharing video lessons on how to increase your production values. Since I am a film/television instructor, I thought it would be a good idea and since it was met with interest I figured I would share them with you. I'll periodically post them here; however, they will be private, so when you catch them, you catch them. The videos are all private, I'm not seeking views; this is merely to help those who want to make better videos. This series of videos was made for my students so there may be some inside jokes you don't understand, but none the less, they are fairly informative.

If there is a topic you would like to be covered, it's likely I already have a video lesson on it. I won't be publishing these videos with any regularity, but I will put them all here... eventually.

All that being said, the biggest issue I find with videos here is in the audio department. Here is a video lesson on how to capture good audio for your videos. This was the first video in the "Audio Series" and it covers the most basic principles of capturing audio. I hope this is helpful. Happy creating.
