How can I get a valid certificate for my mongodb server?

Sorry if I seem a bit upset I’ve been working on this for hours. I just want to use ssl on my mongodb server. My first instinct was to use a self signed cert but apparently mongodb uri has no way of allowing connections to be made with invalid certificates. So I decide to use let’s encrypt. Everything works fine until I realize they won’t assign certificates to IP addresses. So I research and apparently I find a free service that allows ssl certificates to be assigned to IP addresses. Welp apparently they don’t anymore because the forum was years old. It seems I have tried every possible free solution for enabling ssl on my mongodb server. At this point I am probably just going to disable ssl and hope I don’t get man in the middled. If there is an easy work around please tell me because I’m giving up at this point. I’ve probably been working for at least 6 hours total today and I just give up.
