Water under the bridge, it resulted in where we stand now. When I got into IOTA, I chose it because of the target they chose, M2M, feeless and Data + value. With some directions from OMG and the ecosystem they found the right way forward and we will see that unfold shortly.

And besides that: all the rest of crypto are always nice, noble and honest. Not. I barely trust anyone of all other 'founders' out there, although I do believe Satoshi had vision.

Glad David is out of the IF. He only brings drama

When exactly is he going to pay back the victims of the moonpay hack?

Remember when he announced to everyone how he is going to pay them back from his own money? According to IF he never did.

the only "big comment" which I wanna hear from our awesome ex-founder is "now I´ll fulfill my promise and reimburse the Moonpay-victims!" But guess before that would happen, you can see green elephants flying around outside. "Sønstebø" == "all hat and no cattle".

Beyond the grave David is still a force of negativity and narcissism which thankfully, no longer has the IF brand next to his name. Anyone who glorified this lying dork alongside his buddy CFB are the reason why Iota had that massive slump. Ignore David comments, hide David comments, block David.

Look, I don’t like his tone either but the dude grinded his bones on this project for years just to become the scapegoat of all IOTAs troubles. None of us will ever know what that’s like. Everything he’s saying is true btw. So cut the dude some slack.

The only troubles that IOTA had at that time were over promising and not knowing how to deliver. I'm sure there were many discussions during the first 2 years where they realized that CFB didn't have a clue how to implement Coordicide yet they kept assuring everyone they did. It's during these years that sentiment turned and for good reason. Key projects all unwound despite all the assurances. It's the investors you should feel sorry for (including JINN holders).

David has gotten very well compensated for his participation. If anything gives you passion it's knowing that you have several Tis that even at the current price would give you a comfortable life until the end of your days.

Take my upvote for more visibility. I triggered him.

Like I explained, it was a bullish move from my side to know if he ‘really parted ways’ with the foundation as it was announced or if he still follows IOTA in a more ‘under-the-radar way’.

I guess we all have the answer now!

It was completely known before that he still is involved with IOTA, just not as part of the foundation. He has still actively participated in discussions on the discord recently, etc. Your comment did not lead to any new information in that regard.

I didn’t know. I’m not on discord and my primary source of info is this sub, the IF blog and hello IOTA.

I also read Mr Owl summaries and I saw David in it once (along with Carlos Matos).

So I had almost no signs that David was still involved. And I’m happy to know it!

Don’t get me wrong but from what I see, there are not so many people following all what is happening on discord. I know : we should but unfortunately, it’s too much info and I’m not spending that much time in front of a computer.

This kind of passion is what's missing with Dom.

-12
RedditRedFrog•

You want Dom to be picking fights and cursing a lot too to prove he has "passion"? I doubt you know Dom personally that well.

drtm4•

Dom has a healthier type of passion: 100% focus

DerGrummler•

That kind of passion is not passion but something else entirely.
