how do nbme questions compare to the real thing?
I have done uworld questions and amboss questions. They are reasonable with enough information in the question to answer. nbme questions are just straight garbage. I did form 23 today and honestly its very disappointing considering I payed 60 bucks.
math problems with rounding errors, shitty grainy images of brainstems, question about irradiation of food disguised as an ethics dilemma, axial cuts that are reversed, asking about the best method to analyze a study without hinting at (itt or per protocol), a drug that isnt mentioned anywhere in any resource and is not recommended according to uptodate, a question where the answer is nsaid induce prerenal injury but the FeNa bun/cr and specific gravity point to intrarenal.
Havn't finished reviewing it yet so theres probably more where that came from. Anyway, sorry for the rant. Is the real thing as poorly written as this shit?
