大家好！ I noticed a lot of repeating threads in r/China and r/Chineselanguage asking about Chengyu and I thought it was time to start a separate subreddit just for Chengyu.

To get started I think we should standardize some rules to make this subreddit convenient and easy to use. I have arbitrarily decided to make post titles with this format:

**[萬事如意] Description... **

I think its best to link to dictionary entries or something with more information about the specific Chengyu. If you don't have any more information you can always make it a self-post.
* If you want to link to any resources like lists of Chengyu or blogs, etc. then there are no rules about how to post. * Simplified or Traditional is fine. * If you have any more ideas about how to make this subreddit better, then respond in the comments.
