Question about courses

What courses feel like writing intensives, but are not actually considered?

Without a doubt, I would say AS.280.380 Global Health Principes and Practices. That class has not only weekly/bi-weekly written homework, you will have to write 2 papers during the semester that are at least 5 pages in length and SINGLE SPACED. Throughout the course, you will write more pages than are required for the course to be writing intensive but it doesn't count as one.

I just wanted to add that if you are a public health major, especially if you are interested in a concentration in international health, this class is very useful! Other than the heavy writing, I honestly don’t have any negatives to say. The material taught is very interesting and is presented in a very well-organized way!

Comparative politics - the grade is based on papers as well a midterm and final that are essays. I thought it was writing intensive until I realized it wasn’t half way through the semester - I don’t regret taking it though because it was a really nice class.

Philosopy of Mind, if I remember correctly. 3 papers throughout the term. I took writing intensive courses that required less writing. The course itself was awesome.
