Who is one current Cub you would like to see retire with the organization?

I think we all can agree on Rizzo at this point but to think outside the box... who is one current Cubs player you wouldn’t mind finishing out their career here in Chicago?

My answer is kind of unpopular I would say, but i’m going with Jason Heyward. This man has been dogged on a lot throughout his time in Chicago. He’s been ridiculed for his lack of offense, but often praised for his defensive abilities. I’ve heard numerous times in the past from fans demanding to trade Heyward, that he doesn’t belong on this team. But my opinion is otherwise.

Heyward is just an all around likable guy in my opinion. Without his speech in the 2016 World Series, who’s to say we wouldn’t have picked it up and won? Without his defensive presence, how many balls would’ve been home runs or hits? And without his heart, how many times would the Cubs as a team look and feel dismal. His energy is bright, and loving. He is someone this team needs for a lighter mood. I would love if Jason Heyward stuck around in Chicago and retired a Cub. Maybe this is super unpopular, maybe it’s not, but that is one current player I would like to see stay.

So who would you like to see retire a Cub? Off of the current roster of course. Can be some random prospect, can be someone who’s been mentioned to be traded away, can be legit anyone on the Cubs right now. So who’s your choice? (Besides THE Cubbie Rizzo because I think we can all agree on him)
