A few questions about the IQ2, specifically dosage control

Hey everyone!

I'm getting an IQ2 soon and I was wondering how the dosage control works. I know you input it on the device (or on an Android phone if you have one) and it buzzes or something to tell you when you've hit your dose, but do y'all find it finicky or gimmicky? Do you use it? I'm a medical user and I use legal dispensary cannabis (Canadian) so this seems like a really good feature to me, but if it's hard to use I probably won't.

Another thing I had an issue with regarding my IQ1 is that all of the settings would reset when I pulled the battery, including LED brightness and C/F temp setting. I have no idea if this is a manufacturing-related problem but I didn't bother to redo my Smart Paths after a few battery pulls. Does the IQ2 do this too? Was the IQ1 supposed to? Lmao

That aside, how do you like the IQ2 in general? Those who have owned both generations, how much easier is the gunk trap to clean? Are the hinges easier to dig herb out of than the IQ1?
