I had a successful date with a fellow introvert for the first time ever!

Relationship

I've dated 2 girls long term in my life and both were VERY extroverted people. I always thought I could really only date extroverted people because I'm just a naturally quiet introvert who thought he wanted someone who would do most of the talking. I had gone on dates and short lived relationships with introverts and they just never seemed to work out, the silence always feels awkward and I normally love silence lol. I met this girl on Hinge, the dating app, and we've been talking for close to a month before finally going on a date last night. I knew she was more introverted based off our conversations, but she seemed like a very sweet girl so I wanted to give it a shot at least. It was probably the best first date I've ever been on, granted we had texted and gotten to know each other a decent bit before hand so it felt more like a second or third date than a first, but regardless it was amazing. We walked around the city we met up in, had a really nice meal. When we did talk it was great, we laughed and smiled, but when we didn't talk it was just as enjoyable! My last girlfriend wouldn't ever even shut up on out first few dates lol, so it was nice to just sit in a square lightly cuddling while we had no pressure to create conversation and just enjoy each other's company. Anyway, do you guys prefer to date introverts or extroverts or do you even have a preference at all?
