A repost question for the collection event Apex packs

Just wanna ask. Does anyone know what happens if you you don't open the collection event Apex packs until and after the collection event expires?

Those talking about the 700 apex coins refund but I only saw that the 700 per Apex packs only counts if you have unlocked all of the collection items and I think it refunds immediately which I haven't completed it and not exactly planning to due to budget reasons.

Will that happen if I don't open them until the collection event is gone or will they just disappear or stay with their collection items or just becomes normal apex packs?

How can anyone haven't tried this even a bit of curiosity is enough, which I know its hard to resist to open them since you get heirlooms after that; I don't blame you but there has to be someone right since the apex community is large

If possible, please help me reach out to a developer of the game or at the very least someone who could go to Respawn and say "hey, what will happen if this happens?"
